Review
Pros
1. Fun to do secondary tasks.
2. Frequent checkpoints. You can leave your
game almost anytime.
Cons
1. Repetive & rigid gameplay - You do the
same tasks through out the game. You start
with small tasks(interrogation, rooftop
races etc) gathering up intel and to unlock
assassination mission. Problem is that every
assassination unlocks in same manner and
similar tasks. So it is same thing over and
over again untill game finishes.
2. Game lacks realism at some levels.
3. It's always sunny in Jeruselum, sun never
sets !
4. Combat is pretty easy, you can easily
take 20 soldiers at a time.

Review
Pros
1. Storyline - The amazing storyline of
Witcher is alone a good enough reason to
play this game. It's Witcher's storyline
which once picks up, overshadows everything
else that is broken about this game. Despite
the good length of the game story never
slows down, even side quests have meaning to
them.
2. Game is divided into 5 chapters with each
chapter set in a different location. This
keeps the area smaller and keeps the game
fresh as environment keeps on changing.
3. Though CD Project did not put much effort
to cutscenes, otherwise graphics are really
good in Witcher. At higher settings frame
drop issues occur but are manageable.
Cons
1. Poor Combat - Combat in Witcher is QTE
which makes it boring. You take the pointer
to the enemy and click "once" Geralt will
start attacking, then every 3 or 4 seconds
icon appears in place of your pointer which
means that you have to click again to keep
the combo going. The only thing you choose
is the type of attack Fast/Strong/Group.
This is seriously a very boring type of
gameplay. It also means that either game
would be too easy or too hard. Anyone can
maintain the combos considering that it's
the same button that you have to press and
timeframe is mentioned too. Combat in
Witcher is just something you have to go
through, all the gameplay points only for
RPG elements which are great.
2. Complex - It takes lot of time to get
used to The Witcher. Poor interface doesn't
help either. Only when I was 3 or 4 hours in
the game I started liking the game. At that
point I got immersed in story and started to
ignore other problems of the game.
3. Clunky - About 10 seconds after finishing
off enemies, Geralt unseathes his weapon at
his own. In dark areas if you are out of
required vision potion you may want to
switch to fire your torch which you end up
doing immediately as you can't see clearly
otherwise. But as I said when timer hits
10secs Geralt unseathes which he ends up
doing to fire torch or any new weapon you
just drew. Annoying very much !
4. Lack of presentation - Cutscenes are not
very strong point of the game. Characters
lack emotion, you have to do all the judging
from audio dialog, their faces will remain
more or less same. Background audios won't
mix into each other either.
5. Quest Page Clutter - One mission should
be under one heading instead there may be
several quest entries for just one mission.
Different objectives are at times mentioned
seperately. Too many entries make it
difficult to see what tasks are pending.
6. There are missions that can only be
started or proceded at certain time of the
day. Witcher doesn't have any 'wait' option.
You can meditate at fireplace or in certain
people's home but same may not be available
in certain areas. Also you need one flint
everytime you want to light a fire which may
cause further troubles. A simple wait for x
hours option should be there.
Witcher is a great game and all because of
it's detailed and intriguing storyline while
every other aspect of the game is
disappointing.

Review
Pros
1. You can stop time, rewind time or forward
it. The bar that you consume in process
regenerates and that too very quickly. After
consuming it completely it regenerates back
to full in 10-15 seconds. So you are going
to use it a lot.
2. Occasional puzzles which may be little
tricky, you need to understand the time
alteration powers to solve them.
3. Time alteration is quite important in
combat, without using the same it is quite
hard to survive. Not to mention it's fun,
you can stop time, take enemy's gun out of
his hand!
Cons
1. No support for controller - I know
Timeshift is a shooter but it's not a simple
point and shoot game, apart from WASD and
mouse, there are 8 buttons you have to
quickly access in the game. It does pose a
lot of inconvenience on keyboard. It means
that I have to move my finger from either S
or D to press the other button, thus not
allowing me proper movement. With controller
this becomes easy with a minor loss in
aiming with joystick. If you have an option
then I will suggest you to pickup the
console version of this game.
2. Time alteration don't add much fun to the
gameplay at least not after first hour or
two.
3. Footstep sounds, both yours and enemies
are a bit annoying.
4. Annoying Commands - There are few
missions were you are surrounded by
friendlies, they don't do much apart from
barking orders yes they literally bark them.
A task is given to you and exactly 5 seconds
later they react like you are stuck and if
say task takes 5mins to complete you will
continously hear their rattling about why it
isn't done yet. It's beyond annoying.

Review
Pros
1. Bullet time similar to first two Max
Payne games add matrix like moves to it and
you get lots and lots of fun.
2. Challenging - You have to face waves
after waves with no breathing time and for
most of the time your only cover is the
bullet time ability.
Cons
1. Very short - There are only 7 chapters
and they usually don't even last an hour
each.
2. Checkpoints are after very long intervals
and then game won't tell you when it's
actually saved. You have to rely on your
instincts about save locations. It's not
much worrying but sometimes you have to go
through several dozen enemies again because
of it.
3. No support for controllers - Xpadder
worked fine though and my game became a lot
easier as compared to keyboard mouse. There
are a lot of buttons you need quick access
to in this game like heal button and
controller helps you to bring all the
buttons in your reach.
