Review
Pros
1. Fully destructible structures - Everything can be destroyed, all buildings can be reduced to nothing. Destruction is fun, it highly affects gameplay and it never gets old.
2. If you can deal with all the frustrating elements of RFG then it's a real fun game.

Cons
1. Annoying - What could go wrong when hundreds of enemy soldiers are shooting from every direction, there is hardly any cover since everything is destructible, ammo is very limited, enemies are unlimited and there are no checkpoints within a mission. Most of the mission require 2 or 3 tries before you clear it, sometimes even more. It's more than easy to mess up. Your health is regenerating but you can't take much beating. One wrong move and you will be dead. What's more frustrating is that for 99% of time you don't die because of a wrong move but because you get unlucky. If they really wanted to do this at least saves should have been unlimited.
2. Saving a game won't save your location instead when you load a save file you will spawn at nearest safe house.
3. Open world shooter set on Mars - It's not as cool as it sounds. The environment lacks detail just rocks and mountains with fully destructible buildings here and there. Driving around is thus the boring part of the game.
4. Stupid AI - There is a side mission called house arrest where you have to free hostages and then take them to safehouse. Well apart from the general annoying things that happen around you here you also have to deal with stupid AI.
5. Final Mission - Like side missions were not annoying enough, they push all the limits in the final main mission. Let's put you in a super tank but blow you from every direction and don't give any checkpoint for 10-15 minutes. Explosions cover all the screen, you can't even see anything. It's not called challenge it's a game of luck. Let's see if you can roll 6 on a dice 15 times in a row. It doesn't involves any skill but luck.

RFG is a great fun game where all the fun comes from it's amazing level of destruction something you won't find anywhere else but as you progress the game the fun gets taken over by frustrating elements of the game. I suggest you to kill your pride and play it on easy because that's what normal mode is in most of the games and that is where you will least notice all the irritating things in the game.
