Review
A simple shooter but yet a good
experience. While most of the game has run
and gun levels, there are two chapters where
you are given open world map (barren lands
most of it) where you can play several side
quests. Graphics are good except the
character faces.

Review
Pros
1. Some decent work done in music section.
2. Map - Overlord finally gets map but since
this game has straight forward areas you
will hardly find any need to use it.
3. A new gameplay feature where at certain
points you can swap into a minion's body.
Cons
1. Camera - Most of the action happens
offscreen. There are 2 camera angles,
default being third person and second is
over the head view which is good to see
down. Problem is that your enemies
especially bosses have higher ground and
camera hardly captures them. How are you
supposed to beat something you can't even
see? So for the most of the time you fight
with camera rather than enemies.
2. Infrequent savepoints - There is
absolutely nothing funny about repeating
your 20-30 mins of progress after you did
something silly. 20-30 mins when you know
exactly what you need to do, it's more when
you are playing through the level for first
time. At least in PC you can minimise the
game, hibernate the system and resume later
from same point(though I faced no audio
issue once by doing so) but you don't have
any such option in consoles.
3. Not role playing anymore - While there
are choices to make at certain times but
they hardly matter.
4. Strategies don't matter, Overlord 2 is
more about brute force action gameplay.
5. Spells - The only time I used a spell was
when it was mandatory and I still struggled
using them. There are only 3 spells and they
are assigned to X, LT + X, RT + X where hold
and single press may do different things. I
won't be surprised if I am wrong, there
could be more. So not only they removed 12
different spells from previous game which
had their importance strategically and for
fun but they also made them difficult to
use. Spells were earlier neatly assigned to
D-pad from where you select the spell you
want to perform and then simply press 'X' to
perform it.
6. Poor upgrades - The only item I forged
was one weapon. I also spent some resources
on upgrading minions. Once again a good
thing from first overlord is messed up.
7. Hardly funny - Someone really lost their
sense of humour.
In short Triumph Studios screwed up
everything that was good about this game
while retaining poor things.

Review
Pros
1. You have to select difficulty before
every event. You can only beat the game if
you play more than half of the races on
hardest difficulty. But you can't just beat
evey event on hard. You must select right
difficulty depending on your access to good
vehicles and other factors. On the downside,
when there is a game that doesn't interests
you(which Fuel won't for most of the
peoples), there are two options leave it or
quickly get rid of it by playing on a lower
difficulty. As you can see one of these two
options won't be available and most of
people won't even finish a single
playthrough.
Cons
1. The AI opponents in the last segment of
every race will either slow down to let you
win or speed up more than actually possible.
By doing this they correct their time to
finish the race. So while you believe that
you are playing sprint/circuit races(the
only two types of events in the game) you
are actually playing a time trial. You are
winning by the lead of 200+ metres and
suddenly a herd comes running at 500+ kmph,
thrashing you like a bug and stealing your
victory.
2. More of a scripted experience - At the
beginning of the race 3-4 opponents will
drive at unimaginable speeds for few seconds
and then perform near perfect for some time
and then finally slowing down towards the
end. So in the beginning there is a huge
difference between you and 'opponent at
first position' but later you may win by
several seconds. All this to give the feel
that you pulled off something near
impossible. What devs don't understand here
is that you will reset the game long before
it even finishes, getting stuck in races you
were actually performing good. Also,
manytimes few of your opponents will plant
themselves at exact same point where you are
most likely going to end up. It's all
scripted.
3. Music - One theme playing all the time,
really? It's good you can reduce music
volume to zero.
4. Quite a big open world area but it looks
same. Also, you start the race from menu
even if you travel to the start point.
5. Graphics are okay but at times really
terrible.
6. Only two types of events and not many
races either but you need to play few races
twice. Beat them on normal first and later
when you have experience and fuel to buy
better vehicles then beat them on hard to
unlock more events.
7. Cruel AI - You are like a mouse running
inbetween lions, you better stay away
beacuse no matter who crashes into whom, it
will be always you who will be slayed.

Review
An open world game like many other's but
still provides a very unique gameplay
experience. Controlling rackets around the
city is fun just like it was in the first
Godfather game. Storyline is influenced by
the movie. Though game is an open world but
it is still not about driving, 2 out of 3
cities in the game are so small that you
don't even need any vehicles, you can easily
walk around. Game length is moderate & same
are graphics. Unlike the most of movie
adapted games, Godfather 2 lives upto the
greatness of the movie.
