Review
THQ created a lot of hype when they
announced WWE'12 but turns out it was once
again only the updated version of Smackdown
Vs Raw 2011 like they do every year. Though
there were several big changes over the last
year but if you play the game you will
notice that several things came as is. One
of which is Royal Rumble which had no
changes except the addition of 40 men match.
Even the commentary dialogues were not
changed. e.g. At entry #20 in a 40 men match
King (Commentator) would say 'How fast time
flies Michael we are already two-third way
there.' The main disappointment are the
game's graphics to which no attention is
paid. Why do our favorite wrestlers still
need to look like dummies. Talking about the
changes now, fight controls have been
totally changed. You don't need to be pro to
win a multiplayer. Controls are simple, a
button for punch and another for moves, thus
multiplayer is more fun than it was ever
before. Lot of attention is given to
singleplayer too. There are three stories in
Road to Wrestlemania Villian, Outsider and
Hero which follow one another thus creating
one big campaign and yes it is really big.
Though RTWM stories still remain funnier and
unrealistic but they are gameplay
supportive. Difficulty in RTWM increases
slowly from easy to hard and playing on hard
is challenging and fun. So overall it's a
good game but I only hope that future
installments will also work towards the
game's graphics.

Disappointing, explains The Run in a
word. There is so much to complain about
this game and so less to cherish. The Run
feels amazing when you first start playing
it but it's just a matter of time when you
start to realise the truth. Things will
happen only the way game intends, everything
is set up. As a part of storyline you are
making a run for your life from San
Francisco to New York. You start last in
200+ racers but need to finish first in New
York, all of this divided in several race
events. The events are designed in a way
that no matter how much bad you perform you
end up covering unimaginable distances over
your opponents in the end to win. Every time
you crash into something (which you will)
you are sent back to nearest checkpoint
which means that you will be greeted with a
loading screen. You spend more time starring
at the loading screens than actually playing
the game. Campaign is small only 4-5 hrs,
though there is a Challenge series mode with
more events but I didn't found it
interesting. The campaign itself was
enjoyable though but you have to bear all
these drawbacks too. The Run tries something
new and big but fails to solve all the
associated troubles.

Review
It's been a while since any GTA came out.
It's true that this game resembles the older
GTA games like GTA 3 or Vice City in many
respects but it is still a very addictive
game. It is so addictive that for the first
time I went on to find all the collectibles
scattered around the city. Saints 3 pushes
the limit of craziness, you jump off the
plane, catch a tank in midway, shoot others
around and land in the same tank on the
ground & several other things like this.
It's all about fun, sometimes in GTA you
create absolute carnage and try to survive
as long as possible and when it gets out of
control you load the previous save. Here in
Saints you do this in most of the game. e.g.
Tank Mayhem where you do target damage of
millions and when you finish no wanted level
at all. Saints 3 takes good things from
other open world games, not just GTA but you
can also see the elements of Godfather and
even Microsoft's not very popular Crackdown
series. From main quest to random hitman
missions everything is enjoyable. I find it
hard to play most of the games for more than
2 hrs and in some cases even less than hour
but in Saints 3 it is hard to stop even
after 3hrs. Radio tracks are good and you
even get option to create custom station
where you can add songs from different
stations to your liking. Competing with GTA
is not easy but Volition and THQ have done a
really great job here.

Review
One of the best games of all time and
also one of the buggiest game of all time.
Game runs over 100 hours and still there are
several hidden quests that I missed during
my playthrough. Almost every person in
Skyrim is interactable and at least half of
them carry one or more quests for you. I
would have given full points in gameplay but
the out of box game is filled with bugs and
on the console version a lot of lag too,
though 360 version is still manageable.
Patches try to do their best but still
several bugs remain unfixed. Loading times
are also quite a lot, whether you fast
travel or enter a building. Thus skyrim is
best playable on PC though you will still
encounter the bugs. Graphics are good, from
greenery filled plains to snow covered
mountains everything looks good. The main
quest storyline is quite simple and straight
forward but apart from them there are 6
questlines which should definately not be
missed. Then there are several hidden quests
which you may or may not find. It is very
hard to say that you have beaten the game,
there is so much to do, so much to explore.
I hope Bethesda comes with more of such
games in future but error free.

Pros
1. Call of Duty still leads in the quality
of single player campaign compared to
Battlefield 3.
Cons
1. Comes every year, doesn't bring any
change at all. Same game different missions.
2. Not much for graphics.
3. No support for controller at all. You
need to use some external app like Xpadder
if you want to play using controllers. Not
everyone plays with keyboard and mouse(even
FPS).
4. Only 6-7 hrs of campaign even after
playing on hard.

Pros
1. Great graphics like always. Shines even
more on PC.
Cons
1. Poor support for controllers. Even when
you are playing with controllers the on
screen tips display keyboard/mouse buttons.
Layout menu will show some number for every
controller button making it hard to see what
is assigned where.
2. Controller doesn't works in action
sequences. You are required to quickly press
E, space, mouse buttons etc but
corresponding controller keys won't do
anything.
3. Does nothing to improve the genre, war
fps have really start to stall now.

Review
Arkham City is a 'slightly' over-rated game. It is
a good game and definately worth playable
but it is certainly not a Game of the Year
stuff (Metacritic). It is quite similar to
the previous game with few modifications,
new place and new storyline. Combat is
improved and your enemies are quite smart
now. They even wear shields and can dodge
similar attacts. In Asylum combat was quite
easy, the only challenge was from boss
fights, Arkham City is quite opposite boss
fights are very few and are easy though the
fight with the normal goons is challenging.
Counter is not as simple as pressing one
button, different type of attacts have
different counters. Thus gameplay is
improved by increasing difficulty, however
combat remains the same, no new takedown
methods, no newer vantage point types etc
were found. Riddler challenges are good but
involve lot of brain teasing or practice.

Review
Pros
1. Amazing Graphics, the best looking racing
game on Xbox 360.
2. Huge collection of cars from Buggati
Veyron to Hyundai i20 almost every car is
there.
3. Plenty of race tracks.
4. World Tour has near 200 races and if you
are still not satisfied there are about 1500
races in the event list to go through.
5. Amazing cockpit view, never before I felt
it so lively. This camera view is in lot of
other games but is hard to manage.
6. Difficulty customization has lot of
options. So whether you are a beginner or a
hardcore racing fan, you can choose what is
right for you.
Cons
1. Though there are plenty of tracks but if
you are planning to go through event list
they start to feel repetive.
2. With an option of unlimited number of
rewinds game never feels challenging. I
played 475 races but never lost even a
single one of them. And considering the size
of the game it is really hard to turn it
off. My suggestion will be that you play on
a lower difficulty but keep rewind off.
3. A minor bug, sometimes rewind checkpoints
are not created and pressing Y(rewind
button) makes you loose progress as long as
over 60 seconds. You have to see cars
rolling back for that long.
4. Another minor bug where pressing rewind
may reset the race strategy of your AI
opponents, they then try to quickly reach
the best race line even if it involves
braking or hitting into others. So if your
opponents were close to each other which
they usually are, it ends up in a complete
chaos.

Pros
1. There is some scavenging but same is kept
very convenient. You just need to find
fallen bodies and press a button to loot
whatever they carry. To pickup supplies from
the floors or shelves just go near and press
respective button once and everything in
small radius is picked, no need to press
multiple times.
2. You can carry all the weapons you find
though only 4 remain equipped at a time.
3. Very impressive graphics.
4. Fun filled races, though they are easy
even at hard but still they provide nice
change in this open world shooter.
Cons
1. Go here go there shoot some heads come
back here...Rage lacks interesting gameplay.
Only open world fans may have some fun in
Rage.

Review
Pros
1. Even after annual release and that too
without much changes, AC still remains fun
to play.
2. Good storyline to finish the chapter of
ezio and altair's story.
Cons
1. Map is over congested, the problem was in
Brotherhood also and it still continues.
Rather than giving the option to turn off
markers there should be tabs for different
type of markers.
2. Not many changes.
3. Templars now try to take back their dens
if your heat level is full. Funny thing is
it takes more time defend your den (around
10-15mins) than to win it back (2-5mins).
However, once you acquire all the dens it is
easy to keep the heat level below maximum.
4. Templar awareness meter(heat level)
increases even when you buy shops. It is
quite bothering to look for heralds and
officials to decrease your heat level after
every purchase of 2-3 shops. Tear posters
the most easiest way to decrease heat level
since last 2 games is also dumped.
